New Zealand’s educational institutions are well regarded around the world with a great range of educational opportunities available to international students.

NZ offers high quality schools, English language schools, and internationally respected universities. Most international students must pay foreign student fees at New Zealand colleges and universities.

However, some international students are exempt from paying foreign student fees, because they are classed as domestic students for fee paying purposes. For a full list of exemptions refer to the definition of domestic student on the Ministry of Education website.
