The first Taylors College campus was established in Melbourne in 1920. In the years since, the College has grown to become one of the leading university preparation specialists in Australia and New Zealand. Your pathway to New Zealand’s leading universities

  • Taylors Auckland Foundation Year provides a guaranteed pathway to The University of Auckland, AUT University and Massey University (provided minimum academic and English requirements have been met).
  • Our programme is also recognised by top Group of Eight Australian universities such as The University of Melbourne, Monash University and University of Sydney, as well as all other New Zealand universities.
  • IELTS score is not required for Taylors students seeking admission to most undergraduate degrees

Our delivery of the Foundation program encourages you to adapt easily to the New Zealand tertiary academic system. You will benefit from the small classes and timetabled tutorials.

Taylors College Auckland is located on Karangahape Road in the heart of Auckland city. The campus is within walking distance from both The University of Auckland and AUT University. It is close to the public library, art gallery, museum, shops, restaurants and public transport.

Excellent Graduate Success Rates

  • 91% of TAFY students were offered a university place.
  • 87% of TAFY students received offers from The University of Auckland, AUT University or Massey University.
  • Students also successfully gained places at Monash University, Melbourne University, Sydney University, Otago University, Victoria University (NZ) and Canterbury University.
  • Many Taylors graduates have gone on to successful careers in New Zealand and overseas in jobs such as: IT professional, banker, taxation specialist, community health worker, laboratory technician, retail buyer, hospitality manager, accountant and engineer.
